Indigenous dance workshop
Creative Caring is presenting an Indigenous dance workshop by Maci Johnson at the Woollahra Cultural Hub to celebrate NAIDOC week. The workshop is on Monday the 3rd of July at 2 pm.
Maci-Grace Johnson is a proud Wiradjuri & Fijian woman from Griffith, NSW. She has trained as a part of Sydney Dance Company’s Pre-Professional Year during 2021-22.
Maci-Grace strongly believes that her culture is a part of her identity and endeavors to combine her love of performing with her Indigenous heritage. She is a member of Burrundi Theatre for Performing Arts performing both traditional & contemporary Aboriginal dances as well as commercial styles.
